Step One – Anesthesia
Your surgeon will administer anesthesia, typically in the form of local anesthesia or a combination of local anesthesia and sedation, to ensure your comfort throughout the procedure.
Step Two – Marking & Positioning
Once the anesthesia takes effect, the surgeon will mark the areas of the buttocks to guide the injections. They will position you in a way that allows easy access to the treatment area.
Step Three – Injection of Filler
Using a fine needle or cannula, the surgeon will inject the chosen filler substance into the buttocks. The injection technique may vary depending on the surgeon’s preference and the specific filler being used. The surgeon will carefully inject the filler in multiple areas to achieve the desired shape and volume. They may also massage the treated area to ensure the even distribution of the filler.
Step Four – See the Results
After the injections are complete, the surgeon will provide instructions for post-operative care. This may include recommendations for pain management, instructions on wearing compression garments, and guidelines for activities and movement restrictions.
